In celebration of its 40th year, Jazz Ascona proudly presents "Jazz off the Wall," a vibrant mural created by the renowned visual artist Yuri Catania. Catania, a Swiss-Italian artist born in 1975, is widely recognized for his mastery of the paste-up technique in street art installations. His unique approach involves hand-cut collages overlaid to construct each piece, resulting in a visually striking three-dimensional and tactile appearance.What sets Catania apart is his innovative use of augmented reality, seamlessly blending the digital realm with his physical artwork. "Jazz off the Wall" serves as a captivating exhibition that pays homage to legendary jazz musicians, with Catania's journey commencing in New Orleans.
